Our Long Day Care Centre provides interesting and nutricious lunches, morning and afternoon tea.  Our cook will develop menus to ensure that your child receives the required number of serves of each food group whilst in our care.  details of these requirements are displayed alongside the menu plans on the notice board outside our kitchen.

If your child has special dietary requirements you are asked to inform our Centre so that we can make sure that your child's needs are met.

We often have fun food days and occasionally have sausage sizzles for parents to attend a meal with their kids.

Staff: Michelle ("Shell") -  Room Leader 

This room caters for babies 0-9 months old and provides a full nappy and feeding service.  The baby room is a quiet place for both staff and babies and much time is spent nursing the babies while listening to music.  Mums are encouraged to spend time in this room with their babies for both of them to be at peace and harmony.

This room caters for ages 9-18 months old and specialises in creating an awareness for love and community.  Both Bree and Tanekka are innovative and fun to be with and encourage the children to interact with their surroundings and other staff.  Full nappy and meal service is provided.  This year the room is learning "Old Macdonald had a farm" and are learning to recognise animals and the noices they make.

This a room for kids aged 18 months - 2 years old and is led by an experienced team of early Childhood experts.  Children in the room are beginning to establish who they are and are encouraged to be creative.  Afternoon naps are mandatory and time is also spend relaxing to either music or yoga movements.

Staff:  Scot and Kris (Share Room Leaders), Louise and Kelly

This room caters for ages 2-3 and is led by a leader with a Diploma in early Childhood.  The staff in this room are continually encouraging children to be creative and themes such as space, the stars, the world, etc are set regularly to stimulate their imagination. 

Staff :  Danielle (Room Leader) and Hayley

This is a Pre-School Room for ages 3-5 and is led by Danielle who is a teacher in Early Childhood. Children are beginning to spell their names, know the Alphabet and spend quite some time learning how to use a computer.  The children have been learning "Waltzing Matilda" and are also learing about the Chinese C and Chinese New Year.

Staff: Isa (Room Leader), Seveti ("Veti") and Sam

This is a Pre-School room catering for ages 3-5 and is lled by Michelle who is a teacher in Early Childhood.  In addition, Scot is the authorised supervisor of the Long Day Care Centre and is the Assistant Director. Emphasis is placed in preparing children for Kinder and our LDC is associated with Rutherford Primary School to ensure that the teaching is on par with primary school requirements.
