Michelle grew up in Umina on the Central Coast and has returned to work at our Long Day Care Centre after a brief absence having had to move to Katherine (NT) with her RAAF husband on posting. Michelle regards it a privilege to be back with LDC and its wonderful staff and families.  Michelle has been teaching children since 1985 and is still passionate for their education and well being of our future generations.  She is married to Ken and has two children and three step-children who  are her world and worry. Michelle is currently studying for her Bachelor of Education to further her knowledge in becoming a better educator.  She is a passionate "Mariner's" supporter living in a "Jets" community (good luck!!). Our Long Day Care Centre has a sign dsplayed: " You come in as a stranger and leave as a friend."  Michelle believes that this motto reflects the way she and the rest of the team feels and is proud to welcome all cultures and diversity of our community into the Centre.
